Safety is a collective effort, and in construction—a critical yet high-risk industry—it is at the core of every operation. With Alberta poised to recruit and retain over 59,000 workers in the next 10 years (BuildForce Canada, 2025), keeping workers safe and businesses sustainable go hand in hand.
Building on the success of the ACSA 2024 Conference, the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) hosted a two-part Safety Foundations webinar series in the spring of 2025. Led by Mark Hoosein, ACSA CEO, and featured key industry partners from the ACSA 2024 Conference Partners Panel, the series explored strategies and opportunities to improve safety and business excellence in Alberta’s construction industry. Your ACSA heard you: at this webinar series, we discussed questions submitted at the ACSA 2024 Conference and the topics our members care about.
ACSA is committed to driving safety and business excellence by supporting its more than 56,000 member companies to keep Alberta’s over 230,000 construction workers safe. This webinar series covered learnings and insights fundamental to safety and business excellence.
