ACSA attends meeting of the Nation’s Construction Safety Associations

Heads of Canada’s Construction Safety Associations met in Halifax, Nova Scotia over three days in early June for the Canadian Federation of Construction safety Association’s (CFCSA) annual meeting.

Delegates discussed new ideas, shared their experiences, and looked for further ways to collaborate to enhance our work in our respective provincial construction safety industries.

Discussions over the days centralized around making the NCSO designation truly national, positive progress in COR, determining bylaws for the CFCSA and also establishing a ‘Creative Network’ of communications representatives to help promote the CFCSA and the collaborative efforts of each Association.

We are particularly excited to announce that next year the CFCSA Annual Conference will be held here in Alberta! We will be hosting the Conference in Edmonton in June 2017 and will soon be planning the program and activities so stay tuned.
