Crew Brew Powered by ACSA

Thank you for joining us during Safety and Health Week (May 5 – 9, 2025), as we brought ACSA’s Crew Brew to worksites across Alberta, sparking safety conversations over coffee. The Crew Brew activated ACSA’s Injury Prevention Campaign to encourage camaraderie and prevent first-year worker injuries.

From Calgary to Red Deer to Edmonton, ACSA’s Crew Brew team arrived with a coffee truck and interactive AI technology, capturing workers’ words of wisdom to their past or future selves and fostering mentorship and team unity.

Thank you to all the crew members who participated and the companies that hosted us.

Why it matters

More than half of all injuries in Alberta construction are to workers in their first year at a company. Last year, ACSA launched resources to support employers, available at firstyear.youracsa.ca. This year, ACSA is engaging directly with the frontline, encouraging camaraderie and having each other’s backs to prevent injuries.
