Members of RSC’s to pilot new courses

After receiving feedback from the members of our Regional Safety Committees (RSC), we are excited to introduce a new opportunity for our RSC members to participate in the pilots of our new courses.

Pilots will be held in classrooms at our Edmonton facility, as well as online for our e-learning courses. Members of the RSC’s will be invited to participate, in due course, via direct email or at upcoming RSC meetings.

Here at the ACSA, we value the feedback we get from our RSC’s and will make every effort to involve them in future pilots as additional courses are updated and redesigned.

Looking to join an RSC?

If you’re a member of the ACSA and working in a safety role within your company, then you are eligible to join an RSC.

We have eight RSC locations, whose membership is comprised of representatives from construction and trades associations, along with worker members, for the purpose of providing a communication link between stakeholders and the ACSA’s Board of Directors. The RSCs are active in identifying regional and trade-specific health and safety training needs. They also are heavily involved in developing solutions to safety problems in the construction industry, particularly at the local level.
