Frequently Asked Questions

What is MyLearning?

MyLearning is your ACSA’s new learning management system. In MyLearning, you will be able to access our course catalogue, register for classes, view your course completions and certificates, track your progress through our NCSO and NHSA designations and purchase materials and third-party courses all in one place.

Why is ACSA changing their learning management system?

Our members asked for an easier-to-use training system, and we listened! This new system is the direct result of your feedback gathered for our What We Heard Report and from student engagements last spring.

How will I access MyLearning?

To log into MyLearning, simply click the “Forgot my password” option on the landing page and enter your email linked to your student account. You’ll receive a link to reset your password so you can access MyLearning with ease.

What do I need to do to prepare for the launch of MyLearning?

Keep your existing student profile up to date. This includes making sure your address, phone number, email address and company (employer) are up to date.

Can I access a Facilitator account in MyLearning?

Not right away. When MyLearning launches, Facilitator accounts won’t be available yet. In the meantime, our Client Services team will send monthly student progress reports as needed.

Will MyLearning replace My Portal?

Yes, MyLearning will replace My Portal. All of your student records will be transferred to MyLearning, ensuring that your student information will remain unchanged.

What will happen to my in-progress training?

Any in-progress activities, including designation applications and all on-demand courses, must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2025. Failure to complete these activities will remove any progress.

What will happen to my current course registrations in My Portal?

If you purchased an in-person, virtual instructor-led training (vILT) course or on-demand course, the purchased course will remain in your student profile in the new system. You will not lose your spot in upcoming courses or be required to re-enroll.

Will this change impact my past course completions and certificates?

No, all your course records will carry over to the new system – and they will be even easier to access!

Who do I contact for more information?

Please do not hesitate to contact our Client Services team at info@youracsa.ca or 1.800.661.ACSA if you have any questions.

Will Facilitator accounts be available later?

Yes. We’re building improved Facilitator accounts with more features.
