Your ACSA Safety Excellence Awards recognize individuals and companies pursuing continuous improvement towards safety and business excellence. Awards will be presented at the Awards Dinner on November 6, 2024, as part of our 2024 Conference in Edmonton, Alberta.

2024 ACSA Safety Excellence Awards: Categories

We are excited to announce three (3) new awards for 2024.

The five (5) categories are:

  • NEW – Small employer award for excellence in safety recognizes small businesses that demonstrate inspirational commitment to promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment. Aimed at companies with up to 19 employees, this award highlights the importance of a safety culture that protects workers and contributes to business success.
  • NEW – SECOR employer award for excellence in safety recognizes small businesses demonstrating commitment to promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment. Aimed at companies with up to ten (10) employees, this award highlights the importance of a safety culture that protects workers and contributes to business success.
  • NEW – COR employer award for excellence in safety recognizes businesses that demonstrate commitment to promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment. Aimed at companies with 20 and more employees, this award highlights the importance of a safety culture that protects workers and contributes to business success.
  • The National Health and Safety Administrator (NHSA) of the year award recognizes safety professionals who have worked hard to build their safety careers in construction by managing projects and/or initiatives and by participating in extracurricular activities, such as training and volunteering to enhance safety in the workplace.
  • The National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) of the year award recognizes safety professionals who have worked hard to build their safety careers in construction by managing projects and/or initiatives and by participating in extracurricular activities, such as training and volunteering to enhance safety in the workplace.
